Activity - Making preliminary Red Lists

the initial phase of the proposed project. The aim of this activity is to create a preliminary red list of threatened species occurring in the TFE and in the floodplain forests of the Lower Morava Biosphere Reserve. The initial material for this work will be already published national red lists of individual groups of organisms, Annex no. 2 of Decree no. 166/2005 Coll., Annex no. II and III Decree no. 395/1992 Coll., The management plans for protected areas, data in the literature. These preliminary lists will be consulted with experts on the different groups of organisms and staff of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic.

The first version of the list of endangered tree species of the Czech Republic was drafted by the Department of Forest Botany, Dendrology and Geobiocoenology in 2005. This list will be revised and updated with regard to the development of knowledge.
